Take your loveable pooch along on your New York City vacation or business trip. The hotel welcomes your furry companions provided they are 70 pounds or under and leashed in all hotel public spaces. We require a $25 pet fee per night, though the fee is waived when booking the hotel’s Royal Pooch Package.

Astor Room. Our largest banquet and function room, the Astor Room offers 2546 square feet of exquisite event space for up to 300 guests. This stylish room is perfect for mid-sized VIP corporate conferences, seminars or lunch events. In the evening, the Astor Room’s high ceilings, architectural accents and elegant surroundings provide the ultimate atmosphere for your New York City dream wedding or gala social affair. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow for an abundance of natural light that adds warmth and charm to your New York City event.

Whitney Room. Restyled to complement the classic architecture of the hotel’s main Lobby and additional function rooms, the Whitney Room offers high ceilings, excellent sight lines and beautiful décor for that important presentation or celebration for up to 150 guests.

Accenting the elegant décor are beautiful paintings from the hotel’s 1926 opening.

Park Avenue and Manhattan Room. The two newest event spaces at the InterContinental, these breathtaking meeting and event rooms are located off the main lobby, providing easy accessibility to the hotel’s business center, shops, services and the Barclay Bar & Grill.

2nd Floor Function Space. Located one floor above the lobby, our six function rooms on the 2nd floor – North Parlor I & II, South Parlor, West Parlor, Drawing Room and The Library – feature a decor of crystal chandeliers and sconces, enhanced by soothing blues and ivory tones, to create an ambiance of peaceful productivity. Club Wing – 3rd Floor. Regal in ambiance and rich in history, the 3rd floor Club Wing is a stylish and comfortable with rich wood paneling and hand-painted murals both within the function space and throughout the corridors. The Cornell Club from 1936 through 1962, the Club wing offers the feel of many of Park Avenue’s exclusive clubs, banking and financial headquarters. This elegant event space is sought by many local corporations for important board meeting and corporate gatherings, and well appointed social occasions. Strategically designed with a two rooms in one concept, these stunning event rooms allow groups to both meet and eat in separate areas connected by French doors.

Green Meetings at the InterContinental New York Barclay. The hotel is now featuring the Green Engage Meeting. The hotel hosts thousands of groups and meetings annually, ranging from gatherings of up to ten to larger conferences of 200 or more guests. Calvados Collection.
The Barclay Bar at the InterContinental New York Barclay is now featuring an extensive variety of over 30 types of the apple brandy. These Big Apple offerings include a “tasting flight? of 1oz samples of four types of Calvados for $24, and Calvados and apple juice cocktails starting at $12, featuring fresh-pressed apple juice from New York apples.
The twice-distilled aged brandy from Normandy is one of the world’s finest spirits. The brandy’s complexity comes from blending over two dozen varieties of small, aromatic apples, careful distilling from dry cider aged in French Oak barrels, then blended and bottled for the connoisseur.

Decades Cocktail Hour at Barclay Bar.
Decades Cocktail Hour. Shake it up like its 1929, 1969 or 1989… The Barclay Bar, puts a retro twist on its weeknight cocktail culture with Decades Cocktail Hour. Starting March 28, from 5:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m., the Bar celebrates a different era each week night with music, moving images and $8 featured cocktails as follows:

Mondays, 1920s Sidecar and 1930s: French 75
Tuesdays, 1940s Bellini and 1950s: Harvey Wallbanger
