Nestled in the heart of paradise on the southern tip of Beau Vallon, Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove re-opened in June 2004. The restored hotel features sweeping thatched roofs and local granite. The open-air lobby which affords breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, stands above a stylish bar and library.

Founded in 1943, historic Fisherman’s Cove is the Seychelles’ first and most legendary hotel. Over the decades, the resort has gained a reputation for relaxed, understated luxury and friendly, personalized service, providing guests with a peaceful hideaway.

Seabirds skim the azure waters of the Indian Ocean, schools of fish flurry just below the surface, and the clear sunlight illuminates the rippling crystal waves. Welcome to the Seychelles, home of the amusingly shaped ‘lovenut’, the largest seabird colony in the world, and over one thousand species of fish.

Spa

The resort features a Fitness and Spa center with full massage services, aromatherapy, facials, manicures and pedicures. The new spa at Fisherman’s Cove features La Stone Therapy – the original hot stone massage which combines the application of thermo therapy and the energies from the stones to re-connect with the inner strength of Mother Earth. It goes beyond the physical experience of typical massage, and enters deeper dimensions of relaxation, health and well being, creating a positive approach to “Body-Mind-Spirit” philosophy. Highly trained therapists apply warmed oil to gently massage away stress and muscle tension and hot and cold stones are then applied to the body alternately to assist the body with self-healing.

Boating

All water sports, including waterskiing, parasailing, diving and deep-sea fishing, are available next to the hotel, at a charge. Non-motorised water sports, including sailing, hobie cat and windsurfing, are offered at no extra cost to guests.

Scuba Diving

The crystal blue sea is the home of many tropical fish and makes Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove the perfect destination for snorkelling or diving enthusiasts.

Child Programs

As per Le Meridien policy, one child under the age of 12 years can be accommodated in their parents’ room free of charge (please note that this only applies if the accomodation is a suite). Two children, under 12 years, occupying their own room are charged at 50% of the parents’ room rate. A child under 12 years receives a 50% discount on all meals. A children’s menu is available on request. Babysitting can be arranged with 24 hours notice. Board games are also available.

Meetings & Events

An intimate meeting room of 72 Sqm, with a maximum capacity of 30 people is at your disposal for your meetings. The room is equiped with modern technologies and offering natural daylight and view on the Indian Ocean.

Group activities – For small exclusive groups, Le Méridien Fisherman’s Cove offers a full range of watersport activities, big game fishing and Island Hopping in a comfortable yet exotic setting.

19 tastefully furnished open-styled rooms located in the main building, set to the rear of the hotel and all sea facing with balcony or terrace. Located at garden level the suites offers breathtaking views of the Beau Vallon Bay. Decorated with blending colours to give a sophisticated yet relax feel the suites feature a seperate sitting area, large open plan bathroom, large LCD screen, Hi-Fi system and Espresso machine.

Available at garden or top level, the suites all are equipped with very large open plan bathrooms, with bathtub, Le Meridien Bed, separate walk-in shower and spacious dressing facilities. Le Bourgeois Restaurant specialised in sea food and international cuisine; from lobster to Bourgeois fish itself. Le Cocoloba Bar

Le Cocoloba Bar allows you to chill out to cool music and an exceptional ocean view. Unwind while you enjoy an a-la-carte light snacks during the day or sip tropical cocktails as you watch the setting sun. Adjacent to the bar is the Cocoloba Library, with contemporary design of colours red and dimmed light offering a relaxing and yet sophisticated ambiance.

The bar opens from 08:00hrs to midnight and a-la carte snacks are served from 15:00hrs to 17:00hrs. Pool service is also available from 11:00hrs to 18:00hrs.

Sunset Bar

Contemporary design and open bar with an extended pontoon and gazebo. Offering complimentary afternoon tea and coffer accompanied with homemade bakeries. Sundowner cocktails are served as well as pre-dinner or late nights drinks can be enjoyed in the lounge area.
