Recreation

Respite from a busy day can be had with a jog or stroll through the 41-acre Hibiya Park. Just opposite the hotel, it was the city’s first Western-style park and features 200 different varieties of trees, plus flowering bushes. Or, guests can venture a bit farther for a turn through the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, 1.5 km (1 mile) from the hotel.
The tower building’s 20th-floor health club includes a complimentary fitness center with city views and a variety of equipment, such as treadmills, stair machines, and stationary bikes. The adjacent lap pool also has city views, but is available only for a surcharge, as is use of the men’s and women’s health club areas, which include saunas, massage rooms, and locker rooms.

executive service center

Occupying one wing of the main building’s fifth floor, an executive service center includes four conference rooms, two complimentary meeting rooms, a soundproof music room, and seven work stations with computers. Combined, the event/conference space of the two hotel buildings equals more than 26 ballrooms, event, and conference rooms. Some hold up to 3,000 people and offer simultaneous translation facilities accommodating up to six languages.

Business center

In addition to four conference rooms, two complimentary meeting rooms, a soundproof music room, and seven work stations with computers, the executive service center offers professional secretarial support, email and computer assistance, interpreting and translation arrangements, business-card printing services, typing, photocopying, and facsimiles.
The center also features its own lounge, with coffee service, and a selection of local and international newspapers. Mobile (cell) phones are available for rent at JPY1,500 (US$10–$15) per day, plus usage fees. Guests can use phones until 20 minutes prior to check-out, at which time the surcharges will be added to their bill. All fee(s) subject to change without notice.

Conference/function room

The hotel houses some 26 different banquet and function rooms, including the 2,000-square-foot Peacock Room, which features decorative motifs from the 1923 Frank Lloyd Wright–designed hotel. Some of the larger event rooms are equipped with audio-visual and simultaneous translation systems for conferences, seminars, fashion shows, exhibitions, and gala receptions. Smaller ballrooms for private parties, meetings, and other functions are also available.

The 931 guestrooms are located in both the tower and main buildings. Tower guestrooms are in the same building as the 20th-floor fitness center, pool, and saunas, while main building guestrooms are located closer to the lobby/reception area and business center. Both buildings house at least six restaurants within an elevator’s ride of guestrooms.

Standard Rooms (31square meters )

All Standard rooms in the Imperial Tower are decorated in light, bright tones and are all comfortably furnished. These conveniently-sized guestrooms, for single or double occupancy, offer complimentary high speed broadband Internet connections, the latest amenities and easy access to the Fitness Center, pool and sauna facilities.

Main Superior Rooms (32 square meters )

All Main Building Superior rooms on the 7th to the 12th floor have been attractively upgraded and feature a mixture of traditional and innovative styling. The improved comfort and safety features greatly enhance the appeal of these delightfully furnished rooms. The en suite bathtubs and showers are supplied automatically with hot water (with the exception of some rooms).

Main Deluxe Rooms (42 square meters )

All Main Building Deluxe rooms on the 7th to the 12th floor have been redecorated in styles of both yesteryear and today.
The upgrades to comfort and safety are the major features of this refurbishment.
The en suite bathtub and shower are supplied automatically with hot water.

The 16 restaurants and bars/lounges are located throughout the hotel’s two buildings and offer a diverse range of cuisine.

Les Saisons

French cuisine inspired by the Michelin-starred Les Crayeres restaurant. Serves lunch and dinner in a Neoclassical setting. Adjacent cigar bar is stocked with 20 varieties. Located on the mezzanine level of the main building.

The Old Imperial Bar

Tucked away off the main thoroughfare between the main and tower buildings. Décor and a piece of wall from the 1923 building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright combine with low lighting for an intimate, unique atmosphere. Four original cocktails include The Tinkerbell, a white rum/peach liquer/violet liquer creation inspired by Marilyn Monroe. Sandwiches served for lunch.

The Imperial Viking Sal

Distinguished as Japan’s first buffet-style restaurant at its inception in 1953. Features a show kitchen serving appetizers, soups, salads, roasts, other hot main dishes, and desserts for all three meals. Located on the 17th floor of the main building.

The Imperial Lounge Aqua

Cocktail lounge reminiscent of a gentleman’s club with sofa seating arranged in conversational clusters. Overlooks neighboring Hibiya Park from the main building’s 17th floor. Live music each evening.

Kamon

Fine dining. Teppanyaki, open-grill steaks, and seafoods prepared tableside for lunch and dinner. Located on the 17th floor of the main building.

Rendezvous Lounge

Multi-tiered, colored-glass mosaic dominates the wall space above this busy lounge in the main lobby area. Offers coffee, tea, beer, cocktails, and other beverages, along with sandwiches at lunch. Open from lunch till late night.

Cicerone

Located on the mezzanine level of the main building. Italian-style cuisine for lunch and dinner. Semi-formal atmosphere; tables for smaller groups.

Eureka

Serves à la carte and table d’hote Pacific Coast cuisine for breakfast, tea, lunch, and dinner. Casual atmosphere complemented by both booth-style tables and large windows overlooking the street. Located on the lobby floor of the main building.

Nakata

Tokyo-style sushi served at a counter for solo diners and tables for small groups. Open for all three meals. Located on the lower level of the main building.

Nadaman

Serves traditional Japanese cuisine. Located on the lower level of the main building.

La Brasserie

French-style cuisine for lunch and dinner in an atmosphere inspired by turn-of-the-century Paris. French bread specialty. Located on the lower level of the tower building.

Sushigen

Sushi served for all three meals in a fine-dining atmosphere. Located on the lower level of the tower building.

Ten-Ichi

Light tempura served for lunch and dinner at a counter or tables for small groups. Located on the lower level of the tower building.

Peking

Chinese cuisine inspired by the Imperial Court of the Ming Dynasty. Open for lunch and dinner. Located on the lower level of the tower building.

Isecho

Traditional Kyoto-style cuisine served in private rooms. Located on the lower level of the Imperial Plaza.

Kitcho

A branch of the well-known traditional Japanese restaurant. Serves sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. Located on the lower level of Imperial Plaza.
