Lembah Spa

Perched magnificently atop a gorgeous valley with spectacular views overlooking the Petanu River gorge, Lembah Spa is considered one of Bali’s most tranquil settings, the perfect location for the pursuit of health and well being.

Treatments have been meticulously developed combining Western knowledge with traditional, time-honored Balinese wellness techniques handed down over centuries. In fact, the name Ubud for where Viceroy Bali is located, originates from the Balinese word “obat” which literally means “herb” or “medicine”. If this highland region is the centre of healing then Lembah is at its heart with unique traditions in health and healing that have given Ubud a reputation amongst spa practitioners worldwide.

Bali has also been a crossroads for spa practices with a variety of techniques from Asia and Europe. Considered the finest Ubud spa, Lembah’s local therapists as an example have been professionally trained over the years by accredited Swiss therapists.

Gymnasium

Viceroy Bali gym features a full set of free weights and the latest equipment for both cardio and resistance training. Guests can exercise in air-conditioned comfort and stay updated with the latest world developments via a flat screen television with satellite channels. Complimentary chilled energy drinks and towels provide added refreshment. The gymnasium is available exclusively to house guests. Private yoga classes can be booked.

Boutique

The Viceroy Boutique offers guests the opportunity to buy quality casual resort wear, jewellery, artefacts and hotel memorabilia. Although the boutique opens from 9am to 5pm daily, guests can request for the receptionist to open the boutique, if closed, at any time.

Helicopter Pad

Viceroy Bali is the only hotel in the Ubud district with a helicopter pad situated a mere stroll from the reception pavilion. Hotel guests wanting to avoid the 45-minute drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai international airport to Ubud can opt for a direct helicopter transfer to the hotel. Guests can also tour Bali and the neighbouring islands by helicopter arranged through the Viceroy Bali concierge.

Conference Room

The air-conditioned conference room can seat up to 25 persons for a theatre-style conference, or can be prepared as a formal board room for meetings of up to 14 persons. The facility is fully equipped with state-of-the art audio & visual aids including video projection, connected to a fully wired computer system, wireless & cable Internet access, and a speaker conferencing telephone. Office supplies and basic refreshments are included with bookings for its use. The conference room can also be converted into a mini theatre with projector screening for videos or movies. The facility also has a library where guests can borrow books and DVDs.

Garden Villas

Each of the garden villas is 150 square meters (1615 ft2) comprised of an amply spaced bedroom and sitting room with combined indoor and outdoor living space; a spacious open plan bathroom integrating the private indoor swimming pool; and a garden and daybed (called a balé) where hours are easily spent relaxing with scenic vistas of the valley and beyond.

Terrace Villas

One of the highlights of the Terrace Villas is the balé, a small Balinese pavilion, graciously and conveniently perched over the private outdoor swimming pool. Guests relish sitting in the balé looking over the spectacular Petanu River gorge whilst having an afternoon drink, reading, or just enjoying a light meal and refreshment from room service.

Deluxe Terrace Villas

One of the design virtues of the Deluxe Terrace Villas is the balé, a small Balinese pavilion, perched over the private outdoor swimming pool. Guests appreciate the languid nature that comes with lying back in a balé looking over the spectacular Petanu River gorge whilst having an afternoon drink, reading, or just enjoying a light meal and refreshment, and certainly forgetting about the world they came from.

Vice Regal Villas

This exceptionally large 240 square meter (2583 ft2) villa offers an expansive yet intimate bedroom with a large open bathroom, an outdoor living area, a private outdoor swimming pool with outdoor shower, and a garden overlooking the Petanu River valley. The Vice Regal Villa 1 is ideally an elegant retreat for couples who appreciate open spaces and stylish surroundings.

Viceroy Villa

The Viceroy Villa is often referred to by guests as the resort’s Presidential Villa. This elegant accommodation has two very spacious bedrooms, each with high-thatched roofs and commodious luxury bathrooms.
