Perfectly located on the seventh floor of the hotel, the Fitness Centre enjoys fantastic views and is the ideal compliment to the benefits of a beauty session in our Spa. Lit by natural daylight, where tranquility, elegance and comfort are combined to offer you a relaxing atmosphere, putting you completely at ease to sculpt and stimulate your body by using the most sophisticated and advanced weight training machines. Zplage

With one of the largest beaches on the Croisette, the hotel’s private beach has more than 400 sun lounges and a vast pontoon.
Well equipped to welcome sun worshippers and, throughout the summer season, water sports activities are available including skiing, surfing, wake boarding, runner rungs, parasailing and sea excursions.

Pool

In the midst of hundred-year old palm trees, an octagonal pool heated to 30° C is available for the exclusive use of hotel guests. Enjoy luxury sun loungers, attentive service and light refreshments within this oasis of calm.

Kid’s Club

Children are King at the Hotel Martinez. Not only is accommodation free for under 12’s when sharing their parents’ room, but there are special children’s menus at the Zplage Beach Restaurant, the Relais Martinez as well as Room Service upon request. Infants are catered for too with a selection of baby food together with bottle warmers on request. And when it’s time for the parents to take a break, babysitting and the Kid’s Club are both available.

The Kid’s Club is open during the summer holidays from July to August, from 2pm to 6pm. Entry is free but is reserved exclusively to children between 4 and 12 staying at the hotel. They have their own special play area with a variety of activities and games organised under the watchful eye of qualified personnel: play’n’learn, painting, cartoons, face-painting, salt dough models, and more…

Located on the hotel’s first floor, the Suite des Oliviers invites us on a sumptuous journey through time. The interior designer Marc Hertrich was inspired by the Roaring Twenties to create an ultra glamorous atmosphere that celebrates the Martinez’ Art Deco style.

The Suite des Oliviers’s 180m² interior has a very spacious dining-living area, a dressing room and two bedrooms and bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a sauna. The suite has an exceptional feature in that it opens on to an immense 250m² terrace on the sea front overlooking La Croisette. The terrace has a large Jacuzzi, an outdoor seating and dining area and plenty of deck chairs…

Light plays a central role in the interior decor. This is particularly evident in the colour scheme: shades of white, champagne, ivory and beige are contrasted by turquoise and sea-green, or taupe, producing a very warm atmosphere…Many of the surfaces and coverings used, including the very stylish wall-hangings, have an iridescent, shimmering quality evoking the sea, which is accentuated by the use of exquisite satins, silky velvets and silver leaf…

All of the furnishings recall the spirit of the Roaring Twenties: quilted bedheads in a mother-of-pearl material, crystal chandeliers, Giacometti-style lamps, two-tone dressing tables covered in white leather, a shaped buffet…

La Palme d’Or

With 2 Michelin stars and a 17/20 rating in the GaultMillau restaurant guide, the Hotel Martinez’ gourmet restaurant has joined the highly coveted circle of the best establishments in France. Here, nothing is left to chance; not even the valet parking service which facilitates arrival at the restaurant and contributes to the client’s comfort and convenience. Created by Christian Willer in 1985, the “La Palme d’Or” restaurant has elevated itself to the highest ranks of the French culinary world and its international reputation has never flagged since. In 2001, another Christian came on the scene: Christian Sinicropi, whom Christian Willer designated to succeed him. And so, for several years, the two chefs worked as a duo until Christian Sinicropi very naturally took over the restaurant. His cuisine is highly inventive and daring, and the restaurant’s rather poetic menu changes with the seasons…

20 years – 2 stars… 2011’s Michelin Guide (French Edition): the Legend continues at the Hotel Martinez and its famous gourmet restaurant La Palme d’Or. Chef Christian Sinicropi is passionately writing the continuation of an incredible gourmet story started in 1991 by Chef Christian Willer, year the Palme d’Or got its 2nd star.

Le Relais

The “Le Relais” restaurant is located close to L’Amiral piano bar and it extends as a terrace all the way to poolside.
Fully redecorated in late 2008 by designer Hélène MISARD, Le Relais features a chic, glamorous Art Deco setting, highly evocative of the Belle Epoque and “Champagne on the beach in the thirties”…
In keeping with this new finery, Christian Sinicropi, Head Chef at Hotel Martinez, has imagined a new menu blending “fine delicatessen” with “snacking”, local specialties with a wide range of fish and meat, not to mention vegetarian dishes. Lastly, the dessert menu is enough to cause pleasure meltdown

Le Bar l’Amiral

During your stay in Cannes, enjoy the Cannes nightlife and come spend a wonderful evening at Bar l’Amiral. Not a year goes by without our bar receiving a new medal. The barmen of the hotel Martinez have been awarded many prestigious prizes among which several Champion de France titles and one World champion title. These masters of the shaker play with it like they would of a musical instrument to prepare ever more original cocktails for your pleasure.
The Bar’s “dream team” therefore has about twenty trophies.

If the palace’s famous bar in Cannes has today become an institution on the Côte d’Azur, it owes its success to its very friendly team and to the wonderful atmosphere created by the music played every night. Many organizers of VIP evenings in Cannes choose the warm décor of l’Amiral to make their event a success. The Bar also hosts private parties of a high standard.

Dozens of metallic plates engraved with the names of the famous regular customers reflect all the bar’s standing and attraction power.

Zplage Beach Restaurant

he hotel Martinez proposes many culinary treasures such as the very tasty cuisine from the Zplage, its restaurant located directly on the palace’s private beach. As warm spring days return, the Zplage open its doors and unfolds its sun umbrellas. Enjoy their shade while admiring the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea a few meters away.

Be tempted by the « health and well-being » cuisine of our trendy restaurant. The Zplage puts the emphasis on local products and herbs for the preparation of summer-tasting dishes. The roasting of fish and spit-roast meat is done in a clay oven to make for a flavour some meal.

Enjoy the Zplagebar of the hotel’s seaside area, the will propose you a refreshing drink among a large selection of cocktails and freshly squeezed fruit juices. In the summertime, fireworks and colored dinners will animate the evenings.
