So Fit

The So FIT by Sofitel centre in the hotel’s inner garden, directly accessible from the pool, has been completely redesigned to become the primary luxury fitness centre in Vietnam.

The So FIT area has been completely revamped to become the n° 1 Luxury fitness centre in Vietnam, exclusively reserved for hotel guests. The Metropole specially ordered Life Fitness bikes and Lifestride advanced cardiovascular equipment in addition to running treadmill, elliptical bikes and step machines. Each machine is equipped with its own LCD television allowing the guest to exercise while watching the news or favourite tv program. Personal training services are available from So FIT staff.

La Veranda

For over a century, Hotel Metropole Hanoi has welcomed distinguished guests and dignitaries. As well as award-winning cuisine and a prestigious address in the heart of the historic quarter, the Metropole also offers executive meeting and exhibition spaces in a range of set-ups, with all the details taken care of with heart-warming grace.

An inspired setting. This multi-purpose venue, fashioned in a sophisticated palette of maroon, indigo and mahogany, overlooks the hotel’s landscaped pool and the luxuriant garden. Located on the ground floor, La Veranda is accessible from the Opera Wing Lobby.

The largest of the hotel reception rooms, Thang Long room can accommodate up to 200 people, making it ideal for international conferences, gala events or cocktails.

Understated elegance. Catering to guests with particular business needs, the Conference Center provides a range of services from high-tech equipment rentals to meeting spaces to secretarial services. The atmosphere is refreshingly contemporary, blending dark wood with hues of light yellow and slate gray. Equipped with modern audio-visual technologies, the 3 boardrooms can accomodate from 6 to 20 people.

Dong Do Hall

Hermès selected The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi for the launch of its first shop in Vietnam. With great skill and subtlety, as in other Hermès boutiques the world over, the Parisian architectural design agency RDAI succeeded in integrating a completely contemporary décor on the ground floor of a listed building. Covering 110 sq. metres, this new area is accessible both from the elegant Phole Phung Hieu street and the hotel gardens, with a design based on light and transparency. As he enters the boutique, the visitor is welcomed by the emblematic ex-libris inscription in the stone floor and, looking across the vast light-filled space his eye is attracted by the splendid view of the gardens. The Molianos natural limestone floor, marmorino beige walls and matt white ceiling create an atmosphere of comfort and serenity.

L’Epicerie Du Metropole

Located on Ly Thai To Street, L’Epicerie du Metropole has been well-known to local customers and guests of the hotel for many years. As a place in which client could buy and enjoy different kinds of cakes, pastries, home made products as well as famous products originally imported from France, L’Epicerie is a habitual destination of gastronomes in the heart of capital.

Inspired by the Paris-style shops, L’Epicerie offers casual experience in a French conventional ambience. Whenever coming to the world of L’Epicerie, guests are always surprised by a delicious flavor of pastries, sweet chocolates, and fresh fruits that make an unforgettable impression. Metropole Cooking Class

Hotel Metropole Hanoi’s globally reputed cuisine was the starting point for opening the hotel school of cookery. Vietnamese cuisine was influenced by the long association of Vietnam with Chinese rule, French colonialism, the incursions of South-East Asia and its fierce individuality.

Veritable immersion in local culture, the experience starts with a stroll in the local market accompanied by the Spices Garden Chef, to discover Vietnamese ingredients, their flavours and their secrets. This is followed by a cookery demonstration in the hotel kitchen where everyone plays an active role. After class, lunch is served in the Spices Garden Vietnamese restaurant to sample the different dishes prepared during the demonstration.

You will enjoy a large entrance, a dining area with a conference table to seat six, two bedrooms (one with a king size bed, one with a double bed), a washroom and a charming bathroom with large pedestal sink and separate standing shower. Charlie Chaplin Suite

Located on the third floor of the historic Metropole wing, the Charlie Chaplin Suite is a romantic haven to spend cherished moments and create memories with that special someone.
