Accommodation is housed in lavish chalet-style Suites built in crescents while private villas are tucked among the lush tropical gardens. With an emphasis on environmental preservation Trou aux Biches is the first eco-friendly resort in Mauritius, while providing the latest in luxury focusing on privacy, space and diversity.

All Villas, Beach Front Suites and Senior Beach Front Suites have private pools. Other Suite categories open onto larger pools of 126 m2, centred at the heart of each crescent. The hotel also has a large pool designed as a key feature in the main areas. Specially for children aged 3 to 12, the mini-club also has its private pool. Wherever you are, the sea is never too far, beckoning you to relax in warm, crystal-clear waters.

The Trou aux Biches has six restaurants named Blue Ginger, L’Oasis, Mahiya, La Caravelle, Le Deck and Il Corallo. Enjoy a world of flavours sourced from the far end of Asia to the shores of the Mediterranean sea.
Other facilities at the resort include a luxurious Spa by Clarins with 20 cabins, a teens club as well as a range of free land and water sports.

Complementing this comprehensive range of facilities is the “Full Board Plus”, an optional package* available as from November 1st 2011 which includes lunches and selected drinks throughout lunch and dinner.

Trou aux Biches’ spa echoes the resort’s tropical feel and authentic charm. It comprises a string of individual thatched pavilions tucked away amidst palm trees and exotic plants. The design blends the outdoors and indoors. Some cabins will suit guests looking for the cool comfort of air-conditioned interiors while others provide the optimum commune-with-nature experience under the shade of thatched roofs.

Providing an instant sense of elegance and tropical sophistication is a large reflecting pool which forms the centre of the spa.

Child Programs

Mini-Club

Open to children aged 3 to 12, the mini-club is located near the hotel’s Reception, in the hub of activities. The spacious facility consists in a reception, a games room equipped with the latest technologies, a dedicated area for napping, a kitchen and a restaurant exclusively reserved designed for children. Outdoor activities are promoted with a range of games and a private swimming pool in the mini-club secure garden.
The activity programme changes every day to feature in turn sand castle building competitions, treasure hunts, games in the pool, tuition in water-skiing, trips in glass-bottom boats and excursions to the local aquarium located a hundred meters from the hotel.

Baby-sitting

Baby-sitting services can also be arranged at the mini-club. For babies and young children, car seats for different ages can be rented by the day.

Teens-Club

Located close to the Sports Centre for maximum convenience, the teens club has three separate rooms. The modern facility is equipped with a large TV and DVD player.

Daily activities planned by the staff may include snorkeling, tennis tournaments, wake-boarding (under supervision) and even making small holiday-movies to take home.

Cocktail demonstrations at the bar are specially organized for teens as well as movie nights. Open exclusively for teenagers, the teens club provides the perfect setting for teenagers to meet and make friends or socialize in peaceful comfort under the discreet supervision of the staff.
