Superior Suite

The Betsy Superior Suites offer the finest accommodations for the most cultured guests. Gastronomy & Bar

BLT Steak redefines the Modern American steakhouse in a gorgeous location at The Betsy-South Beach. In keeping with its international reputation for excellence, guests at BLT Steak can enjoy sumptuous breakfast, lunch or dinner al fresco on the restaurant’s 80-seat patio, perfectly situated on Ocean Drive. There are 100 seats in the restaurant proper, with 40 set aside for semi-private dining, as well as additional spaces available for private group dining and larger special events. The full menu can also be enjoyed at the Lobby Bar or sample lighter fare on The Deck with picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean.

According to The Miami Herald, “The elegant new BLT Steak fills a need for superior fare and fine service on Ocean Drive.” BLT Steak presents a world-class dining experience with a South Beach perspective. Diners will find a wide range of unforgettable fish offerings, as well as signature beef dishes.

A variety of USDA Prime, Certified Black Angus and American Wagyu beef are offered, each naturally aged for maximum tenderness and flavor and finished with herb butter in a cast-iron pan; fresh daily-caught fish selections are delicate and perfectly cooked. Tourondel’s French training is apparent in signature dishes like Tuna Tartare with avocado and the legendary Giant Popovers with bubbling Gruyère. For fine dining in an atmosphere that offers all the glamour of South Beach, BLT Steak is without equal.

BLT Steak

BLT Steak brings their interpretation of the Modern American steakhouse to South Beach. Located within the exquisite environs of The Betsy, BLT Steak showcases a variety of beef including USDA Prime, Wagyu and Certified Black Angus. Weekly “Blackboard Specials” highlight seasonal flavors and local ingredients.

DINNER AT BLT STEAK
Indulge in the signature Gruyère Cheese Popovers at the start of every meal. The menu also offers a variety of the highest quality and best cuts of beef and the freshest fish, like the Sautéed Dover Sole with soy caper brown butter, as well as an abundance of Raw Bar and Sushi items. Generous side dishes grace the table in Staub cast iron cocottes, and freshly prepared desserts vary seasonally to provide the perfect finish.
Dinner is Served 6:00pm to 10:00pm, Sunday through Thursday; Friday and Saturday from 6:00pm to 11:00pm.

Raw Bar and Sushi
Laurent Tourondel brings his culinary artistry to yet another level with wide ranging and very unique Raw Bar and Sushi options, to the delight of vegetarians, confirmed fish connoisseurs, and (even) meat eaters. From the classic Tuna Tartare to an innovative Peekytoe Crab with Mango and Key Lime Yuzu. Exciting Crispy Sushi Fish Tacos and even a roll featuring braised short ribs represent BLT’s unique take on sushi at Betsy, with an experience that is brand new (opened June 13, 2012) and unforgettable.

DAYTIME DINING AT BLT STEAK
To start any morning off right, BLT Steak at The Betsy boasts an impressive breakfast menu featuring eggs any style, homemade granola, breakfast pastries and Illy coffee. At lunch, a number of substantial salads and creative sandwiches lead the offerings. Highlights, of course, include a Certified Angus Beef burger with hand-cut French fries, while the Lobster Salad “Cobb” Style is a local favorite.
Breakfast is served 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. daily; Lunch is served 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

WEEKEND BRUNCH
Available every Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Weekend Brunch at The Betsy offers an eclectic menu featuring Tourondel’s version of classic brunch items, as well as signature dishes from BLT Steak’s lunch menu. Definite must-haves include: BLT Popover – a take on the classic Eggs Benedict, served with poached eggs, spinach, ham, bacon, Béchamel and Gruyère cheeses. Almond Brioche French Toast with caramelized bananas and old fashioned Buttermilk Pancakes with blueberries and orange blossom water syrup are two signature dishes not to be missed.
Brunch is offered Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

WINE AND COCKTAILS
BLT Steak’s wine list is designed to complement Tourondel’s stunning steak selections. Categorized by both varietal and region, BLT Steak’s wine list will undoubtedly please even the most wine-savvy connoisseurs. Several varietals receive special attention; Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Burgundy’s native grapes, are natural pairings with steak. Riesling, Merlot and Cabernet Franc also enjoy designated call-outs. The wine list also categorizes Old and New World selections.

Lobby Bar

The Lobby Bar is a gorgeous space located in the Salon, up the stairs from Betsy’s underground Speakeasy. Managed by culinary partner BLT Steak, the Lobby Bar menu boasts all of the same incredible Food, Wine and Spirits offered in the restaurant.

A fine selection of wines are offered by the bottle or the glass, as well as highly regarded specialty cocktails crafted with fresh local flavors like guava, papaya and cucumber. These creative libations echo Tourondel’s ingredient-driven sensibility in the kitchen.

An elegant Steinway grand piano gleams in a nearby corner; frequented by local and international performers year-round. With an extensive calendar of art and events, you never know who may turn up at our Lobby Bar, tickling the ivories!

Private and Semi-Private Dining

BLT Steak can accommodate groups from 12 to 40 guests in the Semi-Private Dining Room, a cozy area just off the Main Dining Room. Enjoy family-style dining from our prix-fixe Group Dining Menus, designed especially for your event. BLT Steak is also available for a “buy-out” for up to 120 guests, making your intimate BLT Steak dining experience a one-of-a-kind affair that will be remembered and cherished for years.

For a more intimate event, venture underground into B Bar, a gorgeous 21st Century Speakeasy space. B Bar accommodates up to 50 people for a sit-down dinner or up to 100 for standing cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and offers a hint of vintage glamour in an upscale, discreet setting.
