Mezlai

It gives us a great pleasure to host Mezlai the first Emirati Restaurant in the UAE.

Mezlai means the old lock of the door, was born to feature the Emirati Cuisine with a Middle Eastern touch to suit the palate of a multicultural environment.

Seafood has been the mainstay of the Emirati diet for centuries. Meat and rice are other staple foods; lamb and mutton are the more favoured meats, then goat and finally beef. Popular beverages are coffee and tea, which can be supplemented with cardamom, saffron, or mint to give them a distinct flavour.

Hakkasan, a world-renowned Michelin star restaurant, offers a unique take on modern Chinese cuisine.

In possession of instant glamour, Hakkasan combines opulent design, Asian contemporary ambience, ambitious cooking and accomplished service.

Guests have a choice of two entrances by which to arrive at Hakkasan, either via the main Palace lobby’s entrance or Hakkasan’s own private entrance which can be located by following the signs to the East Wing when driving into Emirates Palace. Both choices have a complimentary valet parking service.

From July 15 until July 31, please note the West Wing Adventure Pool alongside Cascades pool side restaurant will remain closed for maintenance purposes. The East wing pool and Las Brisas will continue their operations during this period therefore the guests will still receive the same level of service.

Diwan L’Auberge
