Accommodation
The Datai Langkawi has a series of well-appointed rooms, villas and suites with sizeable bedrooms, living areas, private verandahs and amazing views of the natural landscape.
The Datai Langkawi features 106 rooms, consisting of 54 deluxe rooms, 40 villas and 12 suites. All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, DVD player, hairdryers, international direct dial telephones and personal safes.
Deluxe Room
Each of the 54 Deluxe Rooms features a combined bedroom and living area with balcony. Additional facilities include one comfortable day bed, a private bar, and a spacious bathroom with dressing area, twin vanities, a bathtub and shower.
Superior Villa
Offering a much bigger interior space in both the living area and bathroom, this elegantly designed villas incorporate an over sized day bed, dining table for two, LCD, DVD Player, Bose CD sound system and Lavazza coffee machine. The extremely spacious bathroom includes rainfall shower, twin terrazzo vanities and his and her wardrobes
Corner & End Suite
The 2 Corner Suites and 9 End Suites comprise a spacious bedroom with ensuite bath and a living area with dining table. Every suite opens out to a spacious balcony.
Pool Villa
Pool Villa features a 3.5 metre x 4 metre plunge pool with built-in Jacuzzi and day bed are designed in the same style as Superior Villa.
Pool Suite
The Datai’s four Pool Suites are located within close proximity to the beach and Beach Club. Each suite comprises a bedroom with living area, a spacious bathroom and a private deck. Every two suites are linked by a sheltered walkway and share a fitted kitchen as well as a living room and a dining room. All four pool suites share a 15 metre pool. Pool Suites must be reserved in pairs as they share common areas.
The Datai Suite
The Datai Suite has two bedrooms, an expansive living and dining area, plus a fully equipped kitchen. A sandstone balcony encompasses the Datai Suite, providing a panoramic view of the environs from every conceivable angle.
Villa Hutan Datai
Luxuriously appointed Malay-style suites are separately raised on stilts with connecting walkways around the villa. Malaysian antiques, carvings and statues blend seamlessly with waterfalls and ponds around the 15 metre long central pool.
All 4 bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, DVD/CD, mini bar, hairdryer, personal safes, separate shower and soaking tub plus a balcony.
The 91 sqm master bedroom features a Jacuzzi plus computer with complimentary internet access. It can accommodate 2 adults. The other three 44 sqm bedrooms can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child each.
The 91 sqm living pavilion showcases the owner’s private collection of Asian artifacts displaying silver, ceramics, paintings and sculptures.
An outdoor bar and BBQ plus a 58 sqm European-style kitchen are available for private catering. Complimentary transportation by car within Datai Bay is available on demand.
Guests of Villa Hutan Datai are entitled to use all facilities and services of The Datai including recreational facilities, the beach, restaurants and the spa.

The Gulai House
Situated in the heart of the rainforest, away from the resort’s main building, the award-winning Gulai House presents traditional Malaysian curries and Indian specialties in an open-air “Kampung Style” setting.
As part of on-going improvements to The Datai Langkawi’s facilities, please be advised that The Gulai House is currently CLOSED for relocation until early April 2012. During this time The Gulai House menu will be available at the Beach Club Restaurant from 6.30pm till 10.30pm daily. All other food and beverage venues – The Dining Room, The Pavilion, The Beach Club Restaurant, The Lobby Lounge and The Beach Bar – remain fully operational.
The Beach Club
With unobstructed views of the ocean, The Beach Club provides a dream setting for dining by the sea.

Lobby Lounge
