Hotel Quirinale

The Hotel Quirinale was founded near Via Veneto in 1865. Predating the Rome Opera house by a couple of years the two buildings are connected by a charming passage through a glorious inner garden.

Even the colours of the 17th and 18th century engravings are reminiscent of the tales told in the Opera. A sense of timeless history is almost physically tangible. This elegant space still gleams with the eternal Imperial style that has hosted not only an extensive list of royalty but also eminent cultural and artistic elite.

The current management acquired the hotel in 1976 and during the last number of decades the 209 room hotel continues to improve its world class superior hospitality and has only grown in status and reputation. The Hotel Quirinale has a bus stop right outside the front door. Attraction such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Coliseum and even the Vatican are however within easy walking distance. 

Home away from home for opera singers and conductors, the hotel can also accommodate 340 more earthly beings. Accommodation for tourists, families and business travellers is offered in single and double rooms as well as junior suites and suites. Standard services include safety deposit box, room service, parking nearby, satellite and pay per view television in the room, independently controlled air conditioning, laundry service as well as disabled guest access and amenities.

There are a total of eight indoor function venues to pick from, any adjoining rooms can be adapted for simultaneous use,and between April and October there is also the garden!

The Hotel Quirinale emphasis is on outstanding service and the Rossini kitchen also prepares menus for business lunches, gala dinners, welcome cocktails and receptions and beautiful weddings in one of the indoor banqueting rooms or the garden which can accommodate 250 guests between April and October. All the function rooms are fully air conditioned.

The fact that it is in a famous shopping area and very close to many wonderful historic sites means that this hotel does a heavenly job of keeping your guests happily occupied. For the big day you have a choice of 8 beautifully styled indoor venues and of course – exclusive access to the beautiful garden (from April to October) You can pick a room to match your guest list exactly – or request to use adjoining rooms. The Quirinale staff is extremely accommodating and will really go out of their way to customise your reception. Consider ending the meal with the perfectly romantic Strawberry and Champagne Sorbet.

From the wooden floors to the high ceilings all 209 of the Imperial style rooms at the five floor Hotel Quirinale are designed to delight.

While the colour scheme is based on a mute, classic cream there are many luxury touches and antique ornamentation. The beds and cabinets have marquetry with pastoral scenes. The flat screen television, spacious stocked minibar and bathroom give a comfortable stay a distinguished touch.

Gastronomy & Bar

Rossini Restaurant

Gilt edged mirrors, high ceilings, chandeliers… The Rossini Restaurant opens for dinner from 19:30 to 22:30.

Opera Bistrot

The Opera Bistrot opens at lunch time, from noon to 19.00, for snacks and light lunch.
The bar serves snacks and is renowned for its Cosmopolitans. The restaurant opens onto an unexpectedly large and lush private garden that lends itself to the perfect Italian al fresco meal. The menu is proudly fresh and seasonal. The emphasis is on national and regional Italian and the finest Mediterranean cuisine.

Green Bar

The classic Imperial style Green Bar opens its doors to guests at 10 in the morning and often entice guests to stay until the doors close at midnight. The Green Bar also offers Italian style sandwiches and pasta dishes. Enjoy !

Breakfast

The breakfast room is open from 6:30 to 10:00 am for an American Breakfast Buffet. Guests can enjoy a complementary meal that is beautifully presented in this light and airy venue.
