Water tumbles gently down the dark granite walls of the pool, and is constantly refreshed by the natural ionising system. In the steam room, breathe in the scent of essential oils such as eucalyptus, chosen by the season to enhance your well-being.

Our luxurious indoor heated swimming pool and steam room are reserved exclusively for hotel guests. The steam room is for men and women, so please wear a swimsuit, robe or towel during your visit.

Meetings and Events

The Elegant Regency Carlos Room is one of the most beautiful private rooms in London. Three rooms contained in one, it is suitable for meetings, receptions and business suite as well as private dining. Spacious and elegant, it has an adjoining conservatory that is perfect for cocktails. The combination of three rooms provides guests with a series of possible options. It benefits from natural daylight and is air-conditioned. The well-proportioned Georgian Room is the smaller of the hotel’s two private rooms and is ideal for executive meetings. Elegant and understated, it benefits from natural daylight and high ceilings.

Weddings

Our range of stylish and beautiful function rooms can accommodate for anything up to 200 wedding guests which means we can provide everything from small, intimate ceremonies to grand, glamorous weddings.

The Connaught not only thrives because of its magical, central London location, it also benefits from the close proximity of Farm Street Church, Mayfair which is within minutes of the hotel entrance.

The Ballroom
Our classically designed Ballroom is open to all types of larger social events and can seat up to 70 guests or 200 guests for a cocktail reception. The room compliments elaborate and large wedding receptions and civil ceremonies, combining the Connaught’s high-class style with a grand function space.

With it’s beautiful mirrored ceiling and warm, inviting decor, The Maple Room is the perfect venue space to enjoy a sit-down meal with up to 60 guests or cocktail wedding reception for up to 100.

The Regency Room
A sumptuous and versatile space that works incredibly well for smaller, more intimate wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions. It can seat up to 30 and comfortably provide cocktails for up to 40 guests. All function rooms can be customised to suit your tastes and needs.

Bespoke and inherited furniture has been chosen to mirror the individual character of each room or luxury suite and damask silk curtains have been chosen to frame the large wide windows in many of the rooms.

In the bathrooms, solid nickel taps and built-in vanity units are gentle references to the Deco period while flat screen TVs above the enamelled cast iron baths are pure indulgence.

Slightly larger than our Superior Junior Suites, a Deluxe Junior Suite is an excellent choice for a longer stay.

Many have large bay windows or window seats, whereas suites overlooking Adams Row have a more contemporary feel, with cutting edge modern art, full height windows, walnut parquet flooring and marble lined spa bathrooms with free-standing baths and spacious showers.

The Prince’s Lodge

Airy, peaceful and uniquely crafted, the Prince’s Lodge, named after Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught, is a restful space infused with the design of the Middle East.

Guests in this 5-star suite will come home to a long-ago traveller’s collection of treasures – hand-carved furniture from Kabul, maps and photographs dating back to 1870, sculpture, stained glass, art and more.

The furniture in the suite was produced by artisans who train with the Turquoise Mountain Foundation. Established by the Prince of Wales in 2006, the foundation works to support and restore the historic districts of Kabul which have endured more than thirty years of war.

The Eagle’s Lodge

Tucked high up on the sixth floor of the Connaught, this nautically inspired suite is made for relaxation or concentration in peaceful seclusion.

The Eagle’s Lodge is designed to resemble the cabin of a luxury 1930s yacht. The fan of rooms is set on a slight curve, offering 270° views over the London skyline.

With its crisp bed linen in white and Navy blue, porthole details and oil paintings of sailing ships, the Eagle’s Lodge transports you effortlessly away from the London bustle.

Sutherland Suites

Our palatial Sutherland Suites are among the most impressive suites in the Connaught 5-star hotel. Each boasts a 30ft drawing room, decorated with astounding original artwork and elegantly elaborate antique furniture. We offer the option to connect to an adjoining room to create a luxurious and spacious 2 bedroom suite.

The Piano Sutherland Suite: perfect for musicians and composers, this soundproofed suite contains a concert-quality 1909 Steinway grand piano.

The Dining Sutherland Suite: for families or those who wish to entertain privately, this suite offers an oval dining table that seats 8 in the drawing room.

The Terrace Suite

The brand-new suite at the Connaught overlooks the largest terrace in Mayfair, stunningly landscaped by six time Chelsea gold medallist Tom Stuart-Smith.

The suite has its own private elevator access which opens onto a sky-lit black and white marble entrance hall. Double doors lead to a spacious living area with a specially commissioned travertine fireplace, hardwood floor, built in library, working area and wet bar. Thus it makes the perfect choice for longer or extended stays.

Hélène Darroze

Hélène Darroze, one of France’s most distinguished chefs, is taking the gastronomic experience at the Connaught into a new and exciting phase.

Inspired by authentic regional and seasonal flavours, Hélène’s cuisine has its roots in her native Landes region of south west France.

Already a holder of a Michelin star for her restaurant on Paris’s Left Bank, she recently received her second Michelin star for Hélène Darroze at the Connaught.

Start the weekend in style with Hélène Darroze’s Saturday Brunch, a serious brunch for dedicated foodies. The menu is inventive and authentic and is a great way to fortify yourself for an afternoon shopping on Mayfair’s Mount Street.

Espelette

Enjoy brasserie-style dining in a relaxed atmosphere, with an all day menu at this Mayfair restaurant.

Afternoon Tea

If you are serious about afternoon tea, Espelette is a destination experience and has been awarded membership of the British Tea Council.

The ‘Chic and Shock’ afternoon tea is the perfect refreshment after a hectic morning in London and served in a delightfully pretty setting overlooking world famous architect Tadao Ando’s new water feature. Choose from a wide selection of teas from Imperial Earl Grey to French Vanilla to Sencha Genmai Cha.

Chic and Shock Afternoon Tea is £35 per person and treats include:

Inspired by English Cubist and Irish 1920s art, with textured walls shimmering in platinum silver leaf overlaid with dusty pink, pistachio and lilac, designer David Collins has produced a gem of a London bar.

The cocktail menu is a fusion of tradition and innovation using exclusive vintages and limited edition champagnes, spirits and liqueurs. You cannot fail to be dazzled by the meticulous attention to detail that goes into making what you sip.

Served alongside tempting cocktails is a range of Hélène Darroze culinary creations inspired by the south west of France.

Coburg Bar

A traditional London bar with a modern designer twist

Ambience
The soul of the Coburg Bar lies in tradition and warmth and the atmosphere inside reflects this – quiet, intimate, relaxed and inviting. Our recent extension offers more space and a wonderful view across Carlos Place.
Featured on Condé Nast Traveler: Hot List Nights 2009 and voted Best bar in London by Time Out Magazine in May 2008, the Coburg Bar is truly unique.

Design
Parisian designer India Mahdavi has merely added to the comfort of the Coburg Bar with her contemporary enhancements. The old Connaught wingback chairs are still there, but reupholstered in velvet with black fringing.

The rich burgundy, purple and mink colours of the seating complement the inviting wood-panelled interior, and black and white cameos by Julian Opie grace the panelling on either side of the fireplace.

Drinks
This is a bar in which to enjoy fine wines, cognacs, champagne and expertly-made cocktails spanning three centuries. Even if you don’t have a cocktail, take a look at the Bacchanology menu, which provides a history lesson into the origins of each drink.
