Snorkeling

Moofushi is a snorkeller’s paradise for beginners and intermediates alike.

As one of the very few resorts in the Maldives to be surrounded by a spectacular house reef and to have 3 large lagoons, this is a very special place indeed. Marine life is very diverse with corals and a plethora of reef fish including stingrays, sea cucumbers, lionfish, snappers and eels. The best site, The Main Reef, lies on the eastern side of the island just a few meters off the beach. It faces a channel where fish and mammals (including migratory species such as Manta’s, Whale Sharks, Dolphins and Sea eagles) pass right by. There are table corals as large as 3 feet in diameter that are easily visible, surrounded by hundreds of fish. Many other beautiful coral types and colourful fish glide languidly along the seabed.

These 57-square metre Beach Villas have been built along the fine white sandy beach of Moofushi island. Situated over the island each of the 24 Beach Villas at Constance Moofushi Resort is ideal for a small family or couples. Located in a picturesque setting, amidst an expertly landscaped garden, There is also a wooden sun deck that looks out to the sea while both bedroom and bathroom also face the ocean. The patio features outdoor furniture designed for relaxing under the stars on a balmy evening.

It is equipped with one double bed, air conditioning, sitting area, complimentary WIFI, LCD TV, mac mini (iPod connection, entertainment system with movies and music on demand), telephone, minibar, safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities and a terrace.

Water Villa

All 56 Water Villas with generous 66 square metres of space Rising on stilts above the placid waters of the lagoon, these Water Villas offer spectacular views of the sunrise, with views that stretch across the sea, Water Villas offer an atmosphere of delightful seclusion. Senior Water Villa

Constance Moofushi Resort has 30 delightful Senior Water Villas that are luxuriously appointed making full use of the generous 94 square metres of space by having unobstructed views. Guests could shower in the elements, or soak in the outdoor bath tub. Either way, guests can view the wide expanse of clear skies as they contemplate in the bath. Alternatively, just soak up the surroundings on the long day bed situated on a private terrace that leads out to the waterfront or lounge in a hammock with the clear waters beneath.

Gastronomy & Bar

Manta

Main buffet restaurant positioned to allow comfortable sand-floored seating with an over the water extension offering superb crystal clear views. Cuisine is tasty and interactive with live cooking stations that offer a changing international menu; a healthily stocked wine cellar completes the experience. Open from 07.30 to 10.30, 12.00 to 15.00

Alizee

A la carte beach grill located just a few metres from the sea on a white sand beach; favourites such as pizza, hamburgers and large salads plus charcoal grilled daily selections are offered along with a vast fresh seafood selection. Open for lunch 12.00 to 16.00, snacks 12.00 to 1800 and dinner 19.30 to 22.00

Manta Bar

Main bar with lively, tropical, friendly atmosphere, sand floor and wide selection of drinks including signature cocktails and mocktails all enjoyed to the background of the DJ’s selection.

Totem Bar

Situated directly on the beach under a heavy canopy of indigenous trees providing the perfect setting for a fresh fruit smoothie or iced tea. The bar also serves lunches and afternoon snacks and by evening becomes a romantic sundowner spot.

Blue Lounge

With two distinct ambiences; indoors the entertainment lounge creates a colonial pub atmosphere with traditional pool, TV and games whilst outside the emphasis is more on relaxation and soaking up nature. Smokers may enjoy a cigarette, cigar or Arabic Chichas with flavoured tobaccos in this area.
