Internet Connections

Executive guests at the Tokyo Imperial will be pleased to learn each guestroom and suite is now equipped with its own modem and LAN cable and, best of all, an ultra-speedy VDSL connection system for internet and email access – offered without any usage charges. External communications offer a speed of 100Mbps, while communications inside the hotel are 15Mbps.

VSDL high-speed connections are now available at The Imperial in Tokyo not only in each guestroom and the Executive Service Center, but in each conference and banquet room as well, where usage is provided at nominal charges.

Meetings and Events

Tokyo’s most international hotel also houses some 26 different banquet and function rooms, many equipped with the newest state-of-the-art support systems for conferences, seminars, fashion shows, exhibitions and gala receptions. Smaller ballrooms for private parties, meetings and other functions are also furnished with a surprising number of versatile, practical appointments.

The Peacock Room offers a total of 1,965 square meters of floor space and can be divided into two separate halls. This striking ballroom features decorative motifs from the 1923 Frank Lloyd Wright Imperial and can accommodate 3,000 reception guests, 2,000 in theatre-style, and 1,350 for a flawlessly-served sit-down dinner.

The Fuji Room boasts simultaneous interpretation systems for five languages among its list of extensive event support systems, and some 1,236 square meters of space. The Fuji Room can accommodate 1,000 reception guests, 1050 theatre-style, and 600 at a sit-down dinner.

The Hikari Room, in the Tower, was also designed for full-scale international events and offers 550 square meters of floor space, a sleek contemporary interior, extensive audio-visual systems and a 400 reception guest capacity. Theatre-style seating allows for up to 500 guests, or 300 at a sit-down dinner.

The Imperial Hotel also houses 23 medium to small-sized banquet rooms ranging from 47 to 435 square meters in floor space, accommodating 30 to 300 guests for receptions, 30 to 350 theatre-style, and 20 to 240 at sit-down dinners.
